Nana Weathers invites the Moritas and their daughter, Kiko, for a cookout. Suddenly, the police call Mr. Morita about a break-in at his business. I love this series, any book that has a dog for the main character is a winner for me.
Boomer is such a fun dog!
The author did a fantastic job of incorporating pet care into the book which I think is so important. Many children want a pet but aren’t sure the care that really goes into one.
I also thought the life lessons learned were brought out in an easy to understand way and the mystery surrounding the book was fun and made me excited to see what was going to happen next!
I can’t wait to read Book 3!!!

This was a fun book that made me want to read more about the puppy named Boomer, a little girl named Chloe and the adventures that await them and their friends. It will be a clear winner for children to read on their own, but also for those who are being read to by their parents or other caregivers.
